Chinda Law — Founded in Phuket, Serving Families
Chinda Law was established on Dibuk Road, in the heart of Phuket's old town, by a small group of legal professionals who had noticed a gap in the local market. Estate and inheritance matters were being handled in a scattered, sometimes impersonal way — clients were passed between offices, given dense documents without explanation, and left uncertain about what came next.
From the outset, the practice took a different approach. Every engagement begins with a proper conversation. We listen before we advise. We explain each step in plain language before moving to it. And we write things down — a summary, a plan, a clear outline of costs — so clients always have something they can refer back to.
The practice focuses entirely on inheritance and estate matters: wills, succession planning, and probate. That focus is deliberate. It means everyone at Chinda Law has thought carefully about these specific situations, and the guidance we offer reflects that depth.
Our Mission
To make estate and inheritance law accessible and understandable — so families can make decisions with confidence rather than confusion.
Our Approach
Patient listening, plain language, written clarity at each stage. We do not rush, and we do not press. Each matter receives the time it needs.
Our Focus
Wills, estate planning, and probate — exclusively. A narrow focus that allows for deep, considered knowledge of the area we work in.

Our Practice
Inheritance Law in Phuket — What We Know
Estate and inheritance matters in Thailand sit at the intersection of civil law, family relationships, and personal intention. The Thai Civil and Commercial Code sets out how property passes on death, who may inherit, and what formalities a valid will must meet. For families with assets in Phuket — property, business interests, bank accounts, or personal belongings — understanding these rules early makes the eventual process significantly more orderly.
Chinda Law works with both Thai nationals and foreign residents who have ties to Phuket. The province attracts a significant number of people who have settled here over many years, built lives, and accumulated assets that will one day need to be passed on. Navigating that process across different legal jurisdictions requires careful attention to which laws apply and in what order.
Our practice is deliberately limited to this area of law. We do not handle commercial disputes, criminal matters, or property transactions outside the inheritance context. That boundary allows us to concentrate on what we know well, and to give clients accurate, considered advice rather than broad generalizations.
